13 Days ’til Halloween, 2014: Burnt Offerings (1976)

Look, I didn’t sleep last night and I’m exhausted. I can’t write my usual novel today and I don’t have the energy to go on the hunt for something super special that no one’s ever heard of. I need to eat and go to bed. It happens.

I’m takin the easy way out and posting a classic Kindertrauma horror movie. It’s not rare, but it’s creepy as hell, directed by the the master of television horror, Dan Curtis (Mick Garris never EARNED that title, damn it), and stars Karen effin’ Black, my favorite drunken bad boy Oliver Reed, and Bette Davis at her most terrifyingly Bette Davis.

Karen effin’ Black…

That’s all I got to say.

More rare or uber weird horror tomorrow…I promise…
