20 Days Until Halloween, 2012: CURTAINS


20 Days Till Halloween, and I offer you a horror movie a day to tide you over. Today I suggest you watch CURTAINS. CURTAINS is a true “cult” movie in that it developed a following before the internet, among individuals, with no articles in Fangoria or elsewhere pushing for its popularity. It was just a bunch of independent horror fans, like myself, who have since been looking for copies on the internet, year after year, that has led to it finally being recognized as a film of interest by larger audiences. Personally, I love all the Canadian horror films of the 70s and early 80s. They’re always filmed in winter and, just like snowflakes, no two movie murders are exactly alike. Enjoy…
